AMERICAN MADE MAPS is co-owned by George Blitch & Colin Williams, who have been close friends since childhood and creating custom maps together for over 20 years. They started that journey after they made a map of George's family ranch and three of their friends saw it and said, "you should map my ranch." The light bulb went off and George & Colin decided to start a company called, "Map My Ranch", to create the best customizable, printed ranch maps available. Before long, they were making maps for clients across every state in the US, and beyond, becoming the leaders in printed maps of all types. Over time, they felt the name might potentially limit their audience.
 

While that business will continue on, George & Colin decided they wanted to create a new brand name, AMERICAN MADE MAPS, that would better represent the scope of the various projects they produce maps for:
